There are lots of opportunities for outdoor pursuits, and country sports in the Borders, where you will find trout and salmon fishing on the Tweed, quad biking, horse riding, sailing, cycling, gliding, climbing, walking, painting, and clay pigeon shooting.

Glenavon sleeps up to eight people in comfort, and has a lounge, dining room kitchen, up stairs bathroom and downstairs shower room. There are five bedrooms, which include two singles, two twins, and a double. The single bedroom is situated downstairs, and has ramp access via the front door, and together with the downstairs shower and toilet makes this the ideal accommodation for the less mobile.

For your stay all fuel and bed linen, including duvets are provided, and hand towels can be supplied by arrangement. The kitchen is well equipped with every convenience and includes a dishwasher, washing machine and dryer, electric cooker, fridge freezer, and microwave. There are three digital TV's in the cottage, and a CD player for relaxing after a days exploring.
