Built as an imposing residence for the vicar of the picturesque village church surrounded by large mature trees and period stone walls, The Old Vicarage & Kirklands make the perfect setting for a Berwick Holiday. They have exclusive use of the large private heated indoor swimming pool and ample parking within the grounds. For larger parties of guests these adjacent properties can be combined to provide luxurious accommodation for up to 14 guests.
The location is ideal within walking distance of a quiet beautiful beach less than a mile away beach, 5 mins to the center of Berwick upon Tweed and a short drive to Holy Island, Alnwick Castle and only1 hour from Edinburgh or Newcastle.
The Old Vicarage (Sleeps 8)
Set in its own beautiful landscaped grounds The Old Vicarage also has the ultimate in luxury and leisure facilities. Externally these include a hot tub, tree house and 15ft trampoline. Within the house, along with the swimming pool, there is a full size snooker table in the sun room, library, piano and TV with Playstation 2. The relaxing snug has a huge 65'' flat screen TV and sky channels.

The kitchen has an Aga and large electric cooker leading to an oversized laundry room. Dine is style in the opulent formal dining room with a beautiful 10 seat mahogany table, or relax in the elegant drawing room, both of which have original open fireplace.

At the top of the paneled staircase there are 4 bedrooms. The master suite has a super king size mahogany four poster bed, large en-suite bathroom with cast iron slipper bath and separate shower.
The Champagne room is a twin room with two single beds and vanity basin. The Blue room has a king size bed original fireplace and a vanity basin.
It has access to the 4th large room with a king size bed and its own staircase.

Kirklands (Sleeps 4-6)
The accommodation at Kirklands comprises a generously proportioned sitting room with three large sofas and a 42'' flat screen TV. This leads through to the kitchen which has dining area and cooker, large fridge/freezer, washing machine and microwave.

There are double doors out to the courtyard which also provides access to the large indoor swimming pool that is shared with the Old Vicarage.
Upstairs there is a family room with a sofa bed, Play Station 2 plus a flat screen TV and football table. This room had a fantastic sunny aspect all day round and is perfect for relaxing. From this room there is access to the 2 main bedrooms and bathroom.

The master bedroom has a large king size bed clothes storage and a vanity basin. The second bedroom is fitted with a double bed and a large wardrobe. The bathroom has a new shower, wc & sink.

New to the holiday market these homes have been lovingly maintained and decorated with great attention to detail and are of superb quality.
All linen is included in your stay, and naturally with accommodation of this standard, you will receive a complimentary hamper of goodies and essentials on arrival including milk, coffee, tea, biscuits, bread, butter and a bottle of wine.
